CEDA is pleased to welcome Hon Fiona Simpson, Minister for Women and Women's Economic Security, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Partnerships and Multiculturalism to provide an early look at the forthcoming Women's Economic Security and Wellbeing Report.
CEDA is delighted to welcome the Queensland Minister for Women and Women's Economic Security, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships and Multiculturalism to an exclusive Trustee lunch with senior leaders from CEDA's Trustee member organisations.
Held under the Chatham House Rule, this intimate and interactive forum provides a unique opportunity for open discussion on the opportunities and challenges shaping women's economic security in Queensland. Bringing together leaders from business, government and the community sector, the event is designed to foster meaningful dialogue, enabling participants to exchange perspectives, explore emerging issues and contribute practical insights to inform policy development.
The discussion is expected to focus on the Queensland Women's Economic Security and Wellbeing Report, the key themes emerging from the subsequent stakeholder roundtables, and progress towards the Queensland Women's Economic Security Strategy. The Minister will share the government's priorities and approach to improving economic outcomes for women, while inviting feedback from attendees on the role that employers, industry and the broader community can play in creating more equitable and inclusive economic opportunities.
This Trustee-only event offers a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the Minister, gain deeper insight into the Queensland Government's policy agenda, and contribute to a candid conversation with peers from across CEDA's Trustee network.
